It’s been a struggle to get sustained warmth in KELOLAND. It seems just staying with highs near average has been hard to come by, but that will soon change.
Tuesday was another day of cloudy skies in KELOLAND. Along with the clouds, rain will be in the forecast for at least the next 24 to 36 hours. Once the rain leaves, we’ll have warming temperatures through the weekend. But unlike the past several months, once the warmth gets here it may end up staying.
This map shows our temperature trend going into next week, so it reflects the end of the 7-day forecast and beyond. Notice how we get more frequent hits of warmer air or the warmer air stays a lot longer.
That means we’ll have high temperatures in the 60s and 70s for much of next week.
That type of air is right on time, as our climate average highs are in the upper 60s to lower 70s for next week.
Seems like I’ve been saying it for the past several months, but give it time and the warmer weather will arrive.
