Tornado warning for Minnehaha County allowed to expire

A tornado warning issued Thursday night for Minnehaha County has been allowed to expire.

A severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Crooks, about 10 miles northwest of Sioux Falls, around 5:15 p.m.

It moved to the east and was heading into Minnesota as of 6:15 p.m.
