Storm Center Update- Tuesday AM, June 12th

Good Morning!

We are starting the day with areas of fog after rain yesterday.

Watertown had heavy rain…parts of town had over 2″.  Sioux Falls airport was lower, but PM showers produced a quick .25″ in other parts of the city.  Rain chances will be much lower today.

Our FutureScan forecast shows less clouds later this afternoon.  We expect our next chance of scattered t-storm development late Wednesday night into early Thursday.

Highs today will be in the 70s.

50s will common overnight with partly cloudy skies.

Tomorrow will be a little warmer with lower 80s likely.

Here comes the heat.  Thursday will be in the upper 80s, but lower 90s are forecast on Friday and Saturday.  Temperatures should turn cooler early next week as rain chances return.
