Storm Center Update – Tuesday AM February 26

Another round of snow is falling in northeast KELOLAND this morning.

Amounts will end up being 1-3″ in and around Aberdeen.  Watertown will get less with amounts of 1-2″.  Central and southern KELOLAND will recieve less than an inch.  Winds will be light this morning and afternoon, but expect a slick commute due to the fresh snow.

It will be a cold day with highs in the single digits and teens.  That’s not a misprint in southwest South Dakota.  Low 30s will be possible in the southwets as warm air nudges into that corner of South Dakota.

There’s a better chance for sun tomorrow, but temperatures will remain cold.  Northern KELOLAND will see the sun sooner than southern KELOLAND.

It will remain cold this week with the next chance for accumulating snow on Friday.
