We’ll be watching scattered t-storms today in KELOLAND. The best chances of rain will be along the Missouri River Valley, but isolated storms are possible around Sioux Falls as the cold front pushes through southeastern KELOLAND late in the afternoon. We’ll follow the trends, but the timing may shift the best chance of scattered rain south of I-90 after 4pm.
Highs are still warm today in the 80s, with a few low 90s in central areas.
Evening scattered rain will push south into Nebraska. New rain chances will develop toward Rapid City overnight.
A much better chance of rain will develop tomorrow, starting in the afternoon. The rain chance will be best tomorrow night as the main storm system passes through the region.
With the expected rain, temperatures will start cooling into the 70s.
That’s just the start of the 70s. It looks much cooler the next few days…welcome relief for some of you looking for a break in the heat.
