Storm Center Update- Thursday AM, August 11th

Thunderstorms overnight have delivered some much needed rainfall.  Here’s a look at some of the amounts so far today.

Sioux Falls:  1.01″ at the airport, but 1.2″ in both SW and SE Sioux Falls.
Lennox:  .30″
Harrisburg:  .25″
Garretson:  1.26″

Thunderstorms are forecast to redevelop across southern KELOLAND today and some heavy rain is possible, mainly east of Sioux Falls with Flash Flood Watches for the afternoon and evening.





Evening storms will move east tonight, leaving behind quiet and dry weather for most areas.



Chances of rain will be much lower tomorrow, with isolated activity possible in the west.
