Storm Center Update Sunday AM – August 13

The rain from last night will continue to move eastward through the morning hours leaving much of western South Dakota dry this afternoon. We’ll keep at least a small chance for rain redevelopment later this afternoon in the heat of the day for eastern and southeastern KELOLAND. Today’s highs will reach the 70s in eastern KELOLAND with central and western KELOLAND reaching near 80 if the clouds clear out as quickly as they are projected.

KELOLAND will see a break in the rain as sunny skies move into the Midwest Monday. Late in the day, the Black Hills could see some isolated thundershowers. Highs tomorrow will reach the 70s to middle 80s.

Temperatures will slowly warm closer to average next week; which means highs returning to the low to middle 80s in many locations.  The next chance for rain after this weekend will be Tuesday into Tuesday night and again Wednesday into Wednesday night.
