Clouds and light rain have been passing through KELOLAND today. Most of the rain this afternoon has been light but a few thundershowers with heavier rain have been spotted. Temperatures have been well below average for early August. Felt more like fall with afternoon temps in the 60s and 70s. And tonight we’ll see overnight lows mostly in the 50s with any leftover rain or thundershowers fading out overnight.
We’ll keep a small chance for scattered shower redevelopment for Sunday as well with highs still cooler, reaching the middle to upper 70s.
Monday should be sunny as high pressure sets up over KELOLAND with still cooler than average highs, reaching the 70s to near 80.
While Tuesday continues the warming trend with highs returning to the upper 70s to mid-80s, mid-week brings back the cooler weather. We’ll return to highs in the 70s Wednesday and the 70s look to stick around the rest of the week. And as that cooler air moves into KELOLAND, we’ll carry another chance for rain but with the expected cooler weather, the severe weather threat will be low.
