Good Morning!

Dry conditions are a big concern as we begin the month of July.  Here are the 30 day rainfall trends in KELOLAND.  Notice all of the yellow and orange, indicating below normal rain.

Warm conditions are ahead today in Sioux Falls with a late day t-storm possible.

Here are the highs for today.

Scattered t-storms are expected tonight in eastern and southern KELOLAND as a low pressure system tracks through the region.  Some locally heavy rain is possible, but widespread rain is another story.  Clusters of thunderstorms are expected, with gaps in between the rain.

Tomorrow will be hotter west as dry weather builds.  Sioux Falls could have rain on the 4th of July.

Chances of rain are lower in the 7-day.  It may cool Friday night into Saturday in Sioux Falls, but hot weather will likely return next week.  The entire forecast is much hotter to the west with 90s and 100s expected.
