We are starting the day with patchy fog and freezing drizzle in southern KELOLAND. It appears light snow will organize into the afternoon and some slightly heavier numbers may be found in NW IA where winter weather advisories have been posted.
Snow will continue to move across the east today, but most of it will end after 10pm this evening. Look for more sunshine tomorrow, but NW winds will increase.
Here are the forecasted snowfall totals today.
Highs today will be in the teens and 20s with the light snow.
Tonight will be chilly as the snow comes to an end. A few areas in the north will drop below zero.
Tomorrow will feature more wind from the northwest and falling temperatures in the afternoon.
Wednesday will be a little warmer in western KELOLAND, but most areas will remain chilly.
Don’t expect the cold air to leave anytime soon. It looks like a shot of snow will move into the plains late Thursday into early Friday.
We’ll keep searching for warmer weather, but you’ll have to stay patient for now!
