Skies will be partly cloudy to partly sunny this afternoon. Isolated showers this morning in north central South Dakota will move east during the morning and afternoon. The rain will remain light with amounts less than a tenth of an inch.
Expect temperatures to be slightly warmer today than yesterday. Highs will hit the 50s in many locations.
It will be slightly warmer tomorrow with highs in the 50s and 60s. Isolated showers will be possible in western South Dakota, but more significant rain moves in on Wednesday.
With thicker clouds and rain, highs will drop to the 50s on Wednesday. The bullseye of heavy rain is still in northwest Iowa, though it’s not coming in as heavy as before. Still, expect rain amounts of an inch to two inches in southeast KELOLAND for Wednesday and Thursday. Amounts will not be as high in northern or western South Dakota.
Once the rain leaves, temperatures will warm. Many will be above average by Saturday with the warmth continuing into Easter Sunday. BUT, isolated showers are in the forecast for Sunday.
