The clear skies we had today will continue tonight as temperatures cool to the 40s.
We expect widespread clear skies to continued into Saturday but clouds will move into western SD late in the day. Temperatures will warm into the 70s to 80s across the area.
Saturday night into Easter Sunday brings a shot at some passing showers and spotty thundershowers through KELOLAND. Rain amounts through Monday look greatest in the south, around a quarter to half inch for broad brush estimates but if you get caught under a thundershower, rain amounts up to an inch are likely. Much lighter amounts of rain will fall in the north and northeast. Temperatures on Sunday will be cooler with the east reaching the 60s while central and west SD top out in the upper 40s to near 60.
Lingering leftover rain chances last into Monday for the southeast. Monday’s highs will be in the 50s to 60s.
We’ll stay dry until next Friday when another incoming cold front could bring more rain. Temperatures next week will rebound to the upper 60s to 70s by the middle of the week.
