It will be another cool day in KELOLAND with mostly cloudy skies in the southern half and partly cloudy conditions in the northern half.
Rain and snow is looking likely in western South Dakota today, but accumulations will be light. Amounts of a trace to 2 inches will be possible in and around Rapid City with slightly higher amounts in the southern Hills.
Highs today will reach the 30s and 40s.
The weekend will be dry; cool to start but we’ll have a warm finish. Even with mostly sunny skies tomorrow, highs will only be in the 30s and 40s.
As winds become south on Sunday, warmer air will return with highs rebounding to the 40s and 50s.
Weak energy and limited moisture will give us a slight chance for light rain on Monday. Otherwise, our next chance for widespread precipitation will be on Wednesday.
