Storm Center Update-Friday AM, August 18th

Good Morning!

Scattered rain has delivered some more moisture to KELOLAND overnight.  Here are a few of the numbers as of 5:30am.

Temperatures will be in the 70s today for Sioux Falls with a slight chance of isolated t-storms late in the day.

Highs today will be in the 70s across the east, with 80s in the west.

Here’s a closer look at FutureScan at 3pm.

By 6pm, the chance rain will shift south into NW IA.

Football in Volga looks good tonight where Canton will be playing.

Overnight weather should be quiet with some fog possible by morning.

Tomorrow will be hot in the west…90s are likely.

Sunday will turn more active.  Isolated t-storms are possible in the morning across the east, but bigger storms could develop west of Sioux Falls by the evening.  There is already a slight risk of severe weather at that time.

Some clouds will be around on Monday along with scattered t-storms in the morning and again by the evening.
