Storm Center Update- Friday AM, April 19th

Good Morning!

We have a good forecast on this Good Friday!  Take a look at the latest numbers for the day ahead.

Tonight looks quiet and more mild on the overnight.

Tomorrow is looking very warm.  Look how many 80s show up in the afternoon forecast!

By Easter Sunday, cooler northeast winds and shower chances will increase from west to east.  Sioux Falls will avoid most of the rain chances until late in the day.

Here’s a closer look at our FutureScan forecast.  Notice the increase in rain on Sunday into early Monday.

The amounts of rainfall will be heavier across the south.  We think a belt of .25″ to .50″ will be possible, with locally heavier amounts in the Black Hills region.

The pattern next week still looks warmer as 60s and 70s make a strong return.

Those numbers are already showing up in the 7 day forecast.  Enjoy!
