SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - With the snow this weekend, Meteorologist Scot Mundt gives us an update on where he is with his snowfall prediction.
I for one am glad the heavy snow fell south of Sioux falls, as it fits well with my snowfall prediction.
With quiet weather ahead for the next several days, it's a good time for me to check where I stand on my snowfall prediction.
The weekend snow and ice created a mess in southern KELOLAND, but it gave me a little snow for my seasonal snow forecast.
Here's the update. With just over an inch of snow officially in SIoux Falls, I'm now at five inches. Aberdeen skipped out on measurable snow, and that's okay as they are still sitting at six inches. Pierre's at 2.5 inches while Rapid City has the most so far with over 12 inches.
The snow will help keep us cold through this week, but warmer air will return next week.
It doesn't look like we'll add to our snow anytime soon as the extended forecast is looking mostly dry through much of next week.
