Most of the rain (and snow) is out of the area, as light rain and snow showers are falling in western South Dakota this morning. Amounts will be light, but areas of KELOLAND did receive amounts over an inch, here’s an example of some of the rain totals from yesterday.
Clouds will slowly decrease as we go through the day with sunshine being common for northern KELOLAND during the afternoon. Clouds will be slower to leave southern KELOLAND.
Temperatures will be slightly warmer than yesterday, but still below average. Expect highs in the 50s.
It will be cold tonight. Lows will fall to the 20s and 30s.

Tomorrow is looking warmer with highs in the 60s and mostly sunny skies.
We’ll stay in the 60s this weekend with a slight chance for rain on Saturday as a weak cold front moves in. Mother’s Day will be dry with highs in the 60s.
Much warmer air will be here early next week with highs jumoing to the 70s (and possible low 80s) for Monday and Tuesday.
