Storm Center Update – Monday AM May 6


Cloudy skies can be expected today with rain moving west to east.  Rain amounts will be heaviest in central and western South Dakota with amounts around a quarter to half inch.  

Highs will be in the 40s and 50s today.

More rain is in the forecast for tomorrow.  Temperatures will remain cool with highs in the 40s and 50s.

Wednesday is the day when we’ll see our heaviest rain.  Rain amounts on Wednesday will approach an inch for areas along and south of Interstate 90.  

Totals amounts of rain Monday through Wednesday will be an inch or more for the southern half of KELOLAND with amounts near a half inch in northeast South Dakota.

After Wednesday, we’ll slowly warm with highs returning to the 60s for the weekend.
