We are finally starting to warm here in KELOLAND and above normal temperatures are forecast to start the weekend. Here are today’s highs aross KELOLAND. That 59 will feel pretty good in Rapid City.
Tonight will be cool, but much better than recent overnight lows.
Tomorrow will continue the trend above normal. 40s are forecast in Sioux Falls, but 60s could be found in parts of northern Nebraska.
Enjoy the warmer weather because changes are coming on Sunday.
A cold front will dive south and areas of snow will deveop in the north during the afternoon. Rain showers will develop late in the day in the southeast, but some of that moisture may turn to a messy mix during the late evening.
Monday looks very cold again and northwest winds will be stronger in the morning hours. We’ll continue to watch the forecast.
The 7-day forecast shows the colder weather next week. Another wave of snow could affect our temperature forecast on Wednesday, but the numbers will likely average much below normal during the forecast period.
