Traffic can once again get on and off Interstate 229 at Cliff Avenue in Sioux Falls.

Sioux Falls Fire Rescue announced the ramps are open for drivers just after 5 p.m. on Friday.

Update 12:28 p.m.

Cliff Ave. between 41st St. and 49th St. is now open after severe flooding on Thursday.

City officials also said the I-229 off-ramps remain closed as of Friday afternoon. However, Sioux Falls Fire Rescue says they will be “opening soon.”

As KELOLAND News reported earlier Friday morning, Interstate 90 has reopened between Rapid City and Chamberlain Friday morning.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol says conditions are still very slick from Mile Marker 130 to 225.
