Parts of KELOLAND were impacted of severe weather on Friday night.
The Sioux Falls National Weather Service confirmed four tornadoes touched down in Minnesota and Iowa.
The first and second confirmed tornadoes touched down near Rushmore, MN. The first one touched down at 7:26 p.m. and had winds approaching 100 mph. The second tornado touched down at 7:37 p.m. and had winds approaching 91 mph.
20-30 hogs were lost in the storm and there was damage to crops. Both tornadoes are believed to be EF-1, according to the National Weather Service.

The third tornado touched down near Bigelow, MN. It touched down at 7:47 p.m. and winds reached 100 mph. There was damage to crops and a garage in this tornado. This tornado has been listed as EF-1.
The fourth tornado touched down near Melvin, IA. This is where most of the damage was Friday evening. It touched down at 8:07 p.m. and had winds approaching 125 mph.
There was damage to homesteads, large tree damage and crop damage. This tornado is rated as EF-2.
