SIOUX CENTER/ROCK VALLEY, IA (KELO) — There is no travel advised in the entire town of Sioux Center due to flooding, according to the Sioux County Sheriff. Some roads are impassable in Rock Valley.

The storm also produced a tornado two and a half miles southwest of Sioux Center, according to the Iowa State Highway Patrol. There were no reports of any damage.

Hull, Iowa reported 4.59 inches and Sanborn received 3.5 inches of rain.

For your safety, do not attempt to drive through unknown bodies of water. Most flooding deaths occur from people attempting to drive through flooded areas.
