Five SD schools advance in Samsung’s National STEM Contest

Five South Dakota schools are among 300 state finalists from across the country in this years Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Contest.

Teachers that submitted the finalist proposals will receive one Samsung tablet for their classrooms. They’ll now advance to the next round for a chance at additional prizes.

Solve for Tomorrow is a program that encourages 6th through 12th grade students to solve real-world issues in their community using classroom skills in science, technology, engineering and math.
