SportsZone Saturday: SDSU football stays COVID-19 free; a MN high school is excited for the NFL Draft; Parker Hanson inspires from the pitching mound


SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — On this week’s KELOLAND SportsZone Saturday, the SDSU football team is staying COVID-19 free during the 2021 season. Head coach John Stieglmeier and senior linebacker Preston Tetzlaff talk with KELOLAND Sports about how they’ve accomplished that feat.

KELOLAND’s Tanner Castora then takes you to Marshall, MN where the local high school is remembering former quarterback Trey Lance, who is expected to be drafted in the NFL Draft on Thursday, April 29.

Lance isn’t the only NFL Draft hopeful in the area as Teeton Saltes of Pine Ridge is preparing for the the draft as well. Sydney Thorson spoke with Saltes as he awaits the draft next week.
