SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (STAMPEDE) – The Sioux Falls Stampede will meet the Chicago Steel in the 2019 Clark Cup Final which will begin this Friday, May 10th at the PREMIER Center. The Stampede were crowned Western Conference champions after sweeping the Tri-City Storm in three games while Chicago won the Eastern Conference title after defeating Muskegon in four games. The Stampede and Steel met just twice during the regular season with the Herd taking both games in high scoring games (8-6 & 7-4)
The Stampede earns home ice advantage for the Final due to more overall points during the regular season. Sioux Falls finished the regular season (39-16-7) with 85 points while the Chicago Steel finished (37-21-4) with 78 points.
The Herd will host Game 1 of the series on Friday, May 10th at 7:05 PM. They will also host Game 2 on Sunday, May 12th at 5:05 PM inside the PREMIER Center. The series will then shift to Chicago for Game 3 on Friday, May 17th and, if necessary, Game 4 on Saturday, May 18th. Puck drop will be 7:05 PM each night. Should a Game 5 be necessary, it will take place back in Sioux Falls on Tuesday, May 21st at 7:05 PM.
Tickets for Games 1 and 2 will go on sale at 10 AM on Tuesday through the PREMIER Center or any Ticketmaster outlet. The Stampede office will be open starting at 10 AM on Monday and will also be available for any ticketing needs. Season ticket holders will be notified as soon as their tickets are ready to be picked up for Clark Cup Final games.
