South Dakota’s leading scorer announces he’s staying in Vermillion


VERMILLION, S.D. (KELO) — South Dakota men’s basketball player Stanley Umude announced on social media Wednesday morning he is going to stay in Vermillion. 

After leading the Coyotes in scoring with 14.4 points per game as a sophomore, Umude said he was going to explore the possibility of transferring schools. 

Umude had received interest from Power 5 Conference Division I schools.
