6:10 p.m. SDSU defeats Montana State 39-18 and advances to the FCS Championship.

5:43 p.m. – Montana State takes a long drive, but punches it in with a touchdown run by Tommy Mellott. He was slow to get up again. That’s twice in a matter of three plays that he was banged up.

Montana State can’t convert the two point conversion. SDSU leads 39-18.

5:39 p.m. – The SDSU defense has been incredible today.

5:30 p.m. – Montana State attempts a fake punt run on fourth and seven… it didn’t work and it wasn’t close.

SDSU follows that with a big pass to Jaxon Janke and a 19 yard run from Davis. Hunter Dustman caps the drive with a field goal. SDSU leads 39-12.

5:22 p.m. – Three quarters down and one to go! SDSU leads 36-12 and Montana State will face third down to start the quarter.

5:10 p.m. – A long kick-off return put the Bobcats in scoring position. They went six yards on six plays, but converted a field goal. SDSU leads 36-12.

5:03 p.m. – SDSU marches down the field and scores an easy touchdown. Mark Gronowski finds a wide open Amar Johnson for the score.

4:51 p.m. – The second half is underway in Brookings as the Bobcats have the football. They’re facing a third and 14.

4:28 p.m. – Blake Glessner comes on for the 37 yard field goal and he hits. At halftime, SDSU leads 28-9.

4:18 p.m. – Amar Johnson goes for his career long touchdown run, and it’s a 22 point lead in Brookings!

State is playing some impressive football!

4:08 p.m. – SDSU forces another stop and they got plenty of pressure on Tommy Mellott that drive.

SDSU will start at their own 15 with 6:18 to play in the first half.

3:59 p.m. – SDSU adds on! Isaiah Davis has taken over! He’s got 105 yards and now a 41 yard touchdown.

Jackrabbits lead 21-6.

3:54 p.m. – SDSU comes up with a stop after Montana State drove across midfield. The Jacks will start at their own 20 with 10:17 to play in the quarter.

3:45 p.m. – One quarter down and three to go. SDSU holds an eight point lead in chilly Brookings!

3:36 p.m. – SDSU with a long drive and they answer with a touchdown. Mark Gronowski in on the one yard touchdown run. Isaiah Davis with 64 yards rushing already today.

Montana State quarterback, Sean Chambers is in the locker room with an injury.

3:21 p.m. – Montana State answers with a touchdown drive of their own.

Quarterback Sean Chambers takes it in on the QB run from the one yard line. However, the snap is messed up and SDSU still holds a 7-6 lead.

3:13 p.m. – SDSU opens the game with an impressive drive that puts the Jackrabbits into the endzone via a 36 yard touchdown pass from Mark Gronowski to Tucker Kraft.

SDSU leads 7-0.

3:08 p.m. – We had a delay, but now we’re underway in Brookings!

2:57 p.m. – It’s cold as we get close to kick-off in Brookings!

BROOKINGS, S.D. (KELO) — Kick-off for the FCS Semifinals is set for 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. #1 SDSU will meet #4 Montana State, with the winner advancing to the National Championship.
