DES MOINES, IOWA (KELO) — The Central Lyon girls basketball team lost to Dike-New Hartford 65-44 in the Iowa Class 2A state championship game.
It was the second straight year the two programs met with the title on the line.
The Lions saw their undefeated mark come to an end and finished the season 24-1.
The Wolverines have now won three consecutive championships.
