Welcome to Wednesday’s KELOLAND On The Go. Here’s what you need to know to start your day!  

It’s a rainy day for most of KELOLAND. With the clouds and rain, expect afternoon temperatures in the 40s to near 50s. Snow will mix in with the rain for eastern KELOLAND late Wednesday evening and overnight. More details in the Storm Center Update. 

For the first time since she was banned from the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, we’re hearing from Governor Kristi Noem. Noem took questions from reporters following last week’s decision by the Oglala Sioux Tribe to ban her from tribal land.  

A math professor at the University of Sioux Falls is receiving a big honor. Dr. Shawn Chiappetta has received an award from the Meritorious Service Award from the Mathematics Association of America.

After their return flight got delayed, the veterans on Mission 4 of Midwest Honor Flight landed in Sioux Falls early Wednesday morning. While their official welcome home ceremony was canceled, the veterans still received a big reception.
