KELOLAND On The Go Tuesday, May 7

On the Go

Here’s Tuesday’s KELOLAND On The Go.

A story you can follow throughout the day Tuesday: Midwest Honor Flight Mission 4. More than 80 KELOLAND veterans are on their way to the nation’s capital for an exciting day. KELOLAND’s Dan Santella is traveling to Washington D.C. with the group.

In weather, rain will move in from the west and southwest Tuesday as we go through the afternoon and into the evening. Once the rain starts, it may not finish until Wednesday night or Thursday morning.

Sioux Falls police will be conducting an internal review to determine if “appropriate force” was used in the arrest of a man accused of threatening to kill his girlfriend then strangling her.

On Monday night, we spoke with Compass Center Counselor Kelsey Kruce about domestic violence. She talked about the difficulty victims have talking with a counselor.

Tuesday marks a huge milestone in not just the Catholic community, but also the Sioux Falls skyline. The Cathedral of St. Joseph celebrates 100 years since its dedication.
