Licensing applications for medical marijuana dispensaries in Sioux Falls are now available. The city made the applications available so interested parties can get started on what could be a long process. The city is not accepting the applications just yet, but will soon.

Governor Kristi Noem says she’ll relaunch the state’s review of social studies standards after it was bogged in controversy. Noem said she has “set aside” the standards proposed by the Department of Education and told the department to restart the process.

Friday night lights took on a shade of pink to kick-off Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Canton C-Hawks football team sported pink jerseys last night in their game against West Central. The jerseys were auctioned off during the game to help cancer patients. While the jerseys were sold to the highest bidders, the Canton football players will still wear their pink socks through the rest of the month.
