Many people spend the holidays giving back to the community. That’s what Olivia Anderson and several volunteers were doing outside the Department of Social Services in Sioux Falls on Christmas Eve. The group handed out boxes of food, which were all prepared by Anderson.

Many air travelers across the United States had to scramble for new travel plans after airlines canceled hundreds of flights. Delta and United say they were dealing with staffing shortages due to the omicron variant.

If you just realized there’s something you forgot at the grocery store, there is a location open today in Sioux Falls. Franklin Food Market has opened on Christmas for around 15 years. It’s not for the sales, but rather to provide employees somewhere to go for the holiday.
