Welcome to Monday’s KELOLAND On The Go! Here’s the stories you need to know in news and weather to start your week.
Power is starting to come back on following last weeks spring storm, but hundreds of Sioux Valley Energy customers are still without power. Crews were out Sunday replacing downed power lines.
To see areas without power, visit the South Dakota Rural Electric Association outage map.
There’s even more moisture in the forecast this week and for areas that are in floodplains, that’s not exactly good news. KELOLAND’s Max Hofer went to Renner where people were finally starting to dry out from March’s flooding.
Two people were sent to the hospital after apparently crashing into a tree in Sioux Falls early Sunday morning.
Warmer, spring-like weather will return this week. Isolated showers will be possible in western South Dakota, but more significant rain moves in on Wednesday.
