SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) -- UBER is getting closer to coming to Sioux Falls. On Friday, the ride-sharing company was approved for a Sales Tax license from the state of South Dakota.
Now, it's up to the company to start hiring employees and launch the service locally.
Drivers already working for Lyft can also work for Uber, when it arrives. Lyft started serving Sioux Falls in the Fall of 2017.
We have reached out to UBER for more details on this latest development.
