Lyft Set To Pick Up, Drop Off PREMIER Center Concertgoers

Your Money Matters

This weekend’s appearance by the Foo Fighters in Sioux Falls marks the first time that concert-goers can get a ride from Lyft to a concert at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.

“Tomorrow will be the first major event we have had since Lyft has announced their arrival in Sioux Falls,” Denny Sanford PREMIER Center Assistant General Manager Chris Semrau said. “It’ll be great to have another option for guests to come to and from the Foo Fighters concert.”

The parking lot on the other side of Western Avenue from the PREMIER Center will serve as Lyft’s drop-off and pick-up zone.

“There’s no formal partnership between Lyft and the PREMIER Center,” Semrau said. “We’re glad that they’re in town, and we encourage guests to utilize Lyft and taxi companies to come to the PREMIER Center.”

If a concertgoer decides to drink, using Lyft is a good option.

“This is another way you can get safely home to your house,” Semrau said.

However you get here, it’ll be a packed house.

“Parking will be full, it’s going to be a sold-out show, so it’s another great option that people can utilize to arrive and depart from the show,” Semrau said.
