SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Are you planning on mailing or ordering a lot of packages this holiday season? If so, you might be running out of time to have them delivered before Christmas.
The deadline to mail packages through the U.S. Postal Service is December 14, unless you are willing to pay more. The rates will go up after that because you'll have to use first class or priority shipping if you want the package to arrive on time.
If you're using FedEx to get your holiday shipping done, the deadline for ground shipping is December 17.
And if you're ordering off of Amazon, the online retail giant says you need to place your order by December 17 if you're using standard shipping.
If you have Amazon Prime and use the two-day shipping, you have until the 22nd to get your order placed to have your package delivered by Christmas.
