SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - A busy corner at 14th Street and Minnesota Avenue in Sioux Falls has a new owner.
First PREMIER Bank, through a related entity, is purchasing land on the northeast corner of the intersection.
The land is vacant right now after crews spent the past several years tearing down dilapidated homes.
"We are excited about the potential of this location at the gateway to downtown Sioux Falls and the excellent visibility and ease of access it provides," President Dave Rozenboom said in a statement.
There is no timeline or official plans for the land yet.
Over the past few years, downtown Sioux Falls has been getting a facelift, and developers have said that they would like that to continue west to Minnesota Avenue.
First PREMIER is headquartered in Sioux Falls and was founded in 1986 by T. Denny Sanford.
