A new golf entertainment complex is coming to Sioux Falls at the Sanford Sports Complex, officials announced on Thursday.

Sanford Health President and CEO Kelby Krabbenhoft and two-time U.S. Open champion Andy North helped announce the opening of a 54,000 square foot facility by late 2019.

The building will host Great Shots, the Sanford POWER Golf Academy, a restaurant and a meeting space.

Great Shots is a climate-controlled interactive driving range that will be open year-round. It will include 60 bays on three floors with a giant video wall with golf technology by Big Shots and Flight Scope.

The Sanford POWER Golf Academy will have a putting green and a series of private bays along with a sports science golf performance and injury prevention research.

Golf hospitality company Troon will manage the full-service restaurant and bar. Six meetings spaces and a kids zone with video games and other activities will also be in the complex.
