Voters Turn Out On Saturday To Cast Ballots In Sioux Falls School Bond Election

KELO Sioux Falls School District4

On September 18, Sioux Falls School District voters will make a $190 million decision.  Votes are already coming in.

More than 300 voters cast absentee ballots on Saturday, bringing the total to more than 1,700 cast so far.

If you’d like to vote early, just stop by the Instructional Planning Center.  It’s open weekdays from 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.

A “yes” vote would allow the district to move forward with plans for a new high school, middle school and elementary school.  The bond would also pay for improved security and updates at several current schools.

If you haven’t decided how you will vote, watch this week’s Inside KELOLAND to learn about the issue.
