Speaker of the House Mark Mickelson has released the security video of the exchange between State Representatives Lynne DiSanto and David Johnson, both of Rapid City.

The video, which has no audio, shows what appears to be a heated verbal exchange with Johnson pointing his finger at DiSanto, while she backs away from him. But there is no physical altercation.

Johnson is eventually ushered away by Majority Leader Lee Qualm.

Late last week, the House voted to form a committee to investigate the incident with the possibility of kicking Johnson out of the legislature.

But on Monday, DiSanto told the House she accepted Johnson’s apology and called him a friend.

The House voted to disband the committee and dismiss the matter.
