U.S. Rep. Kristi Noem is bringing U.S. Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue to the Sioux Falls area Thursday.
The Republican congresswoman is running against state Senate Democratic leader Billie Sutton and Libertarian Kurt Evans to be elected South Dakota’s next governor.
Purdue and Noem will be at the POET ethanol plant at Chancellor at 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
They’ll be accompanied by U.S. Sen. Mike Rounds, a former governor.
The three will participate in a roundtable at a farm at rural Lennox. They’ll be joined there by U.S. Sen. John Thune.
Noem and Perdue will visit Brandon Valley Intermediate School at 10:30 a.m. for a pep rally as students prepare for lunch break.
