A Bon Homme County jury has found a Tabor man guilty of rape and sexual contact with a child.

Charges stem from incidents that happened between December 2015 and May 2016 at 41-year-old Paul Michael Brewer’s home.

“This conviction involves very serious offenses against a child. Child sexual abuse cases, by their very nature, present challenges for prosecutors, investigators and juries and they should be commended for their important and tireless work,” said Attorney General Marty Jackley.

He now faces up to life in prison.

A sentencing date has not yet been scheduled.
