The streets of downtown Sioux Falls will be full of green as the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade takes place on Saturday.
Festivities begin with the painting of the shamrock at 9th Street and Phillips Avenue at 11 a.m.
Parade participants will line up on Dakota and Main Avenues, between 11th and 13th Streets. The parade will head north on Phillips Avenue from 13th Street at 2 p.m.; the route ends north of 6th Street.
Roads in the area will be closed to traffic starting at 1:30 p.m.
