Sioux Falls Shares Plans To Make Falls Park Safer

News

The city of Sioux Falls has released plans to make Falls Park safer.

First, crews will put up a gate on the east bank. Plus, the city plans to install a railing next to a viewing platform on the west side. Crews will also extend railing from the parking lot near the Overlook Cafe.

“These three recommendations are things that we plan to put into place yet this year in 2019,” Park Operations Manager Kelby Mieras said Tuesday at Carnegie Town Hall during the City Council informational meeting.
