Sioux Falls Police: Counterfeit Cash Being Used In The City


There’s an update on a story KELOLAND News first alerted you to on Tuesday night.

We shared pictures of counterfeit cash in Huron.  On Wednesday, we learned similar bills have shown up in Sioux Falls.

Police say you should keep an eye out for words that aren’t in English.  Some of the bills have Chinese characters on them.  Sioux Falls Police have also seen cash with Turkish writing.  When translated, it warned that the bill wasn’t real.
