The Sioux Falls Regional Sanitary Landfill is extending it’s program to waive entry fees to allow people to get rid of flood damaged items.
Fees will now be waived through April 13th.
If you need to get rid of carpet, sheetrock or furniture damaged by the recent floods, you can take it to the landfill in Hartford.
People seeking free entry to the landfill may be asked to provide their address and type of material being disposed of. Loads larger than 5 cubic yards, or approximately the size of a medium tilt bed trailer, will be required to pay the standard Landfill entry fees.
