With more snow coming to Sioux Falls, the Sioux Falls Police Department is reminding the public about the city’s snow alert text messaging system.
A tweet by Sioux Falls police said “Why get a parking ticket and possibly have your car towed when you can sign up to be notified of a snow alert instead?”
To opt into the new text alerts, send “SNOWALERT” to 888-777. Messages will only go to people who have signed up to receive them.
For more information about snow alerts towing zones, see the City of Sioux Falls’ website.
