SF Businessman Turns To Facebook To Try To Capture Burglar

A Sioux Falls businessman is turning to Facebook to try and catch a burglar who took over $10,000  worth of personal belongings.

Dave Kopitski, who is a co-owner of Empire Construction, posted several pieces of video and photos to his Facebook page asking for the public’s help.

The surveillance video shows someone walking around his business in the early morning hours of Thursday with a flashlight.

Then another piece of video shows the man walking out with Kopitski’s grandson’s bow and bag.

The video shows a man driving through his parking lot, in an older model white Chevy pickup with a topper.  He says it appears there’s something written on the back window of the topper.

A high powered rifle with scope and two other archery bows were taken too.

They’re asking if anyone recognizes the pickup or knows anything about the break-in to contact the Lincoln County Sheriff’s office.
