Enjoy all the farm exhibits, food booths and carnival rides at the South Dakota State Fair in Huron.   Today’s activities include a 4-H Robotics and Engineering Challenge at 8:30 a.m. in the Nordby Exhibit Hall;  a Classic Car Parade gets underway at 10 a.m.,  Barrels Gone Wild Barrel Racing takes place at 1 p.m. in the Hippodrome; the comedy duo Williams & Ree perform at 4 p.m. on the Freedom Stage and Foreigner with Night Ranger perform classic rock in the Grandstand at 7 p.m.  
  
Good Earth State Park at Blood Run southeast of Sioux Falls is hosting a Monarch Butterfly Tagging beginning at 2 p.m.  Everyone is invited to learn about the butterflies, then help the park staff identify, tag and release the monarchs.   The cost is a park entrance license. 

Enjoy the mud-slinging and hard hits of the Demolition Derby at the Events Complex in Hawarden, Iowa.  The action start at 5 p.m.  Tickets are $15, free for kids 13 and under.

Check out the Fortress of the Bears exhibit featuring four brown bear cubs at the Great Plains Zoo in Sioux Falls.   The exhibit also has interactive displays including a kids’ field research station.  The zoo opens at 9 a.m.  The last admission is 6 p.m.  

While you’re at the zoo, enjoy storytime and an animal encounter during the Bookworms Reading Program.  The program starts  at 1 p.m. in the KELOLAND Education Center.  

Find your way through the Corn Maze at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park.  Today’s hours are from noon to 9 p.m.  Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for children.  Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park is located just east of Sioux Falls on Interstate 90.  

The Heartland County Corn Maze is an 11-acre maze in the design of ducks.  It’s open from noon to 9 p.m. Admission is $8, $4 for children, free for kids 4 and under.   The Hearland Country Corn Maze is located southeast of Harrisburg, on Highway 11.

Vendors at the Falls Park Farmer’s Market are selling fresh flowers, bread, local meats and produce from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.  The Farmer’s Market is open every Saturday through October.

The White Wall Sessions presents a concert by Andrew Adkins at the Last Stop CD Shop studio on East 10th Street in Sioux Falls.  The performance is at 2 p.m.  That’s followed by music with Superior Siren at 4 p.m.  Each concert costs $5.  Be sure to watch an episode of the White Wall Sessions on KELOLAND TV at 10:30 p.m.
