Saturday Boredom Busters, May 26th

The Sioux Falls Area Humane Society is hosting a Cruisin' For Critters Poker Run.  Registration starts at 9 a.m. at J & L Harley Davidson.  The cost is $25.  The first 200 participants will receive a free t-shirt.  Stops include Brandon, Valley Springs, Baltic, Humboldt, Canton and Harrisburg.  All proceed will benefit the Humane Society.
It's the opening weekend at South Dakota's largest waterpark.  Wild Water West is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.  Attractions include a water slide, a wave pool, Tornado Alley, miniature golf and go-karts.  Wild Water West is located west of Sioux Falls on 466th Avenue.

Inwood Christian School is hosting a Tractor Ride that runs for 40 miles of scenic back roads from Inwood, IA to southeastern South Dakota beginning at 9 a.m.  A breakfast will be served before the run and a noon lunch will be served in Hudson, South Dakota.  It costs $60 to take part in the ride will all proceeds benefiting the Inwood Christian School.
The first round of games tips off during this weekend's qualifier for the U.S. Open Basketball Championships.   Boys and girls teams play at the Sanford Pentagon starting at 8 a.m.  The top two teams from each age group advance to the championships later this summer in Indiana.

White Wall Sessions is hosting two concerts at the Last Stop CD Shop studio on East 10th Street in Sioux Falls.  Brian Johannesen performs at 2 p.m. followed by Ryan Joseph Anderson at 4 p.m.  Each concert costs $5.  You can also watch a previous broadcast of White Wall Sessions tonight on KELOLAND TV at 10:30 p.m.  

Vendors at the Falls Park Farmer's Market are selling fresh flowers, bread, local meats and tender greens from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.  The Farmer's Market is open every Saturday through October.

Enjoy storytime and an animal encounter during the Bookworms Reading Program at the Great Plains Zoo in Sioux Falls.  The program starts  at 1 p.m. in the KELOLAND Education Center.  

Check out the array of artwork during SculptureWalk 2018.  57 sculptures are on display along sidewalks in downtown Sioux Falls as well as the Uptown and East Bank business districts.
Films playing at the Wells Fargo Cinedome in the Washington Pavilion include Amazon Adventure, In Saturn's Rings and Mysteries of China.

The summer Hollywood blockbuster season gets underway this holiday weekend with the release of Solo: A Star Wars Story, rated PG-13.
